Meetings are held as needed for approval of applications and for regulation of alcohol permits at the Walker Municipal Building, 10136 Florida Blvd. in Walker.

NOTE: ALL ESTABLISHMENTS WITH A LICENSE TO SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MUST RENEW THEIR PERMITS AS WELL AS ALL EMPLOYEE CARDS/LICENSES ANNUALLY NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 31.

License Renewal Checklist [Class B]

Applicants for a Class B permit must operate a place of business whose purpose is to sell alcohol in packaged containers. These licenses are for convenience stores, grocery stores and other places of business where packaged liquor or beer will be sold. The following forms accompanied by the appropriate fees and steps are required to renew your license to sell packaged beer or liquor inside the city limits of Walker:

» This license is obtained at the Walker Municipal Building, 10136 Florida Blvd., Walker LA 70785.
» Furnish the Alcohol Beverage Control Board Office with a copy of this license or the license receipt.

State Alcohol License Renewal

» You may renew your state license from the Louisiana Alcohol & Tobacco Control Office online here.
» The Louisiana Alcohol & Tobacco Control Office is located at 8585 Archives Ave., Suite 220, Baton Rouge LA 70809. Questions? Contact them at [225] 925-4041. For general online information, click here.
» You must file your state application and your application with the City of Walker within 24 hours of each other and submit proof of the same.
» You must submit proof of state-required newspaper advertising.
