Building permit application process
Homeowners must supply the following construction documents to the Town of Walker:
1. House plans
2. A plat showing the location of the house
3. A completed Building Permit application. To obtain one online, click here.
4. Notarized affidavit.
Once those materials have been submitted, the construction documents are in the plan-review stage. The Permit Department will calculate a building permit fee, review the plans for code compliance and generate a plan-review letter at the end of the review. You will be contacted and informed of the permit fee and any plan-review changes that must be made to meet code compliance.
