Big game. Big screen.

A big game like Super Bowl XLIV deserves a big screen. A really big screen.

That's why the City of Walker is hosting its first-ever Super Bowl Party at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, in Sidney Hutchinson Park [where our baseball and soccer fields fields are]. Join us for a community-wide tailgating party, where we'll watch the Saints clobber the Colts on our 30-foot theater screen.

Bring your lawn chairs, your ice chests and your refreshments. We'll provide several gas grills where you can cook your hamburgers and hot dogs. No alcohol is allowed.

You'll have access to public restrooms, and the kids are free to ride their bikes, toss a football, kick a soccer ball or play on the fully lit playground. Adults can work off the chips and dip on the walking track at halftime.

There's plentiful parking, and a police officer will be on duty.

And it's all FREE.

Look for us on the Corbin Avenue side of the park. Let's celebrate the Saints' first Super Bowl appearance - and victory - together!
